03 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

03 - Arrange pineapple chunks in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.

05 - Serve warm as a snack, dessert, or topping for yogurt, pancakes, or grilled meats.

# Expert Tricks:

01 -
  • The air fryer creates these concentrated sweet spots that you just cannot get from roasting
  • Takes literally fifteen minutes from cutting to eating
02 -
  • Overcrowding is the enemy of caramelization so work in batches if needed
  • Shake the basket at the halfway mark or some pieces will burn while others stay raw
03 -
  • Pat the pineapple dry before tossing with sugar for better caramelization
  • Let the pieces cool for just two minutes before serving so they develop a slight chew
